Off to a Good Start

New Brighton agency Risdall Advertising last week announced that it had won 26 new clients and/or projects from existing clients during the first quarter of 1999.

John Risdall, chairman of Risdall, said the wins resulted from more than 50 presentations made during January, February and March. "We may not even have to do [additional pitches] this quarter since some of these pitches have yet to be determined," Risdall said.

Total billings for the 26 new projects are expected to reach $10 million. And billings of at least three clients are expected to exceed $1 million. Those three clients are Fox River, an Osage, Iowa-based manufacturer of footwear; Minneapolis-based Crane Pharmacy; and Blanks USA, a Brooklyn Park-based manufacturer of desktop die-cuts.

If projections add up, 1999 client billings at RAA, which specializes in interactive and Web page creation, could total $50 million, Risdall said.
