Emily Ray was first born on date in Chanhassen, Minn., growing up around the infamous dinner theaters near by - “They are a big deal.” Her home sweet home contains a variety of interests, from epidemiology, quilting, Sushi bartending, film reviewing, to consulting; “I have quite the eclectic mix of family…” Emily’s strong family ties to her mother, father and two older brothers, could explain her eccentric personality and obsession for creativity.

This advertising fanatic gets her kicks by creating promotional marketing campaigns, television spots and print ads. All work aside, Emily spends her free time traveling, coaching a high school JV dance team, dance classes, music, football, basketball, scrap-booking and extreme sports.

What They Don’t Know
- Emily has been working for Perkins Restaurant for the past six years. “I am able to carry 10 plates of food at one time.”
- Besides her balancing act, Emily pitches the essentials when it comes to strategic thinking, and she can wiggle her ears!
Stamp Of Notoriety
- Emily’s moment of fame includes being crowned Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Queen of Hearts in 2004-2005. If things couldn’t get any more peachy keen, she jumped at the opportunity when offered to dance feverishly in Las Vegas.
- As President of her sorority, Ms. Ray designed and launched a chapter Website for public and private use – ultimately changing the way of communication for everyone: www.alphalambda.org
- As Executive Marketing Director for the “Up Til’ Dawn” student group, they raised $20,000 for St Jude Children’s Hospital.
- Surviving a fireplace mantle falling on her head at age three.
- Before entering the Risdall candy land, Emily interned for an advertising agency in Sydney, Australia, called Benedictus Smith as an Assistant Director. “I sold $10,000 in print ads for a new magazine called Saddle Club Scrapbooking Magazine.”
