Background:
Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA. Unlike most Midwesterners, however, she's not used to white Christmas's. When she was growing up, her family always went to sunny Florida to visit her Grandparents. Now her father lives in South Carolina where she can continue the tradition.
Education:
Degree in Visual Communication from Brown College.
Work Experience:
"Too much retail!" But it got her out of Iowa. Gallivanting therestaurant business as a waitress.
Hobbies and Interests:
Considering her dedication to the food industry, she loves sampling and critiquing as many restaurants as possible. But, when she's not out on the town, Erica is a true homebody who indulges in classic 80's movies and re-runs of her all-time favorite TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
Her latest and greatest habit is snooping around to find aquariums - she is on a unique mission to fill her home with living art. As soon as the ice melts she is outside, especially around water. Also a confirmed sun lover (although she's trying to curb that habit).
Family Business:
Erica met her husband, Pete, here at Risdall Advertising, and they were married in September of 2000. Their daughter Lucy-born in May of 2003-has already discovered her natural talents from the artistic gene-Proper-pool in drawing and painting.
Ambitions:
"To travel all over the world." She's traveled around America just enough to wet her appetite. She aspires to someday re-learn the piano and sing in a choir again.
