While we try to choose just one clip — the best of the best — for each month's "Client in the News" selection,
April was a month of significant news. Vision-Ease Lens announced its plans to purchase 100 percent renewable
energy to run its Ramsey manufacturing plant, while the Minnesota Masonic Charities presented the largest financial
donation ever made to a Minnesota college or university. Exciting news from our groundbreaking clients called for highlights of both!

Relations Draws Attention to Minnesota Masonic Charities' Support of University Cancer Center
Working with the Minnesota Masonic Charities and the University
of Minnesota Cancer Center, RMPR helped ensure the Mason's $65 million gift — the largest philanthropic gift ever given
to the University of Minnesota — received more than a front-page headline in the local newspaper. Leveraging years
of healthcare communications experience and trusted relationships with local media, RMPR ensured key messages about
the center's name change (to the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota) and the Mason's long-time
support were communicated via the state's major television, radio and print venues. Here is just a sample of the
coverage the Minnesota Masonic Charities and the University of Minnesota received on April 11.

Risdall McKinney Public Relations Assists
Vision-Ease in the Launch of Lensmaker's Sustainability Initiative
As the number of companies touting a "green" component continues to rise,
RMPR recently had the pleasure of introducing Vision-Ease Lens' Sustainability Initiative to the Twin Cities. With the announcement
that Vision-Ease will purchase 16 million kilowatt hours of wind energy — enough to power its lens factory for a year — Vision-Ease
became the largest company in the state to do so. RMPR worked with representatives at Vision-Ease and Great River Energy to provide
details about the wind power deal and the company's other eco-friendly efforts (such as plant consolidation, reduced product
shipments, etc.), resulting in a feature article in Star Tribune's Business section.
