Upsize Minnesota Magazine
Spring 2004 Client of the Month

Profile:
Upsize Minnesota is the only how-to magazine dedicated to helping small-business owners and top managers in Minnesota build bigger and more profitable companies. Publisher Wes Bergstrom was a co-founder of Minnesota Ventures in the 1980s. Our relationship with Bergstrom goes back to those years, when RAA ran ads in the Minnesota Ventures and provided business consulting services.

What makes them great:
Local ownership and a strong background in business publishing. After an out-of-state company closed down Minnesota Ventures, Bergstrom joined forces with two other colleagues to establish Upsize Minnesota.

The RAA Scoop:
When Bergstrom approached RAA to announce his new magazine, he accepted our offer to build a corresponding web site in time for the premier issue. RAA produced a small website for the new publication in record time, and it went live a few weeks before the first issue was mailed. Months later, we released a broader, richer web site for Upsize that utilized a proprietary online publishing system developed by RAA. The web design of www.upsizemag.com reflects the magazine's strong print identity, and the publishing tool gives them a lot of flexibility and freedom in creating page layouts. Overall, their web presence continues to be a strong complement to the printed magazine, and makes additional resources readily available to readers.
