Background:
Eric grew up in near-by Brooklyn Park. His parents still live there, but his older brother works overseas with the Foreign Service, while his younger sister is off at college.
Education:
Jumping out of high school into college, Eric went to North Hennepin Community College. Then he got a BA in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Morris. After that he went to Texas A&M and earned a Masters in mathematical logic.
Work experiences:
Lots of practice problem solving with numbers, from carpentry to mortgages. Most recently, Eric was a web developer for a consulting firm.
Right-brained, too:
To compliment all that math, Eric also enjoys most forms of art, including painting, drawing, creative writing and playing the guitar.
Proudest moment:
It’s a tie between when he won a creative writing award, and when he lost a talent show.
Very funny:
Close runners-up include going without sleep for 32 days, holding his breath for 6 minutes, and running a 4-minute mile (Right…)
Factoid:
Once Eric ate a 1.5 lb. hamburger – now he’s a vegetarian! He enjoys cooking and often brings in goodies for the coworkers.
