Dave KruegerWeb Developer / Network AdministratorHired: May 2000 |
|
Background:Born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (where he still has lots of extended family) with a short stint in Chicago. Dave likes Minneapolis for the people, and because he knows his way around.
Education:Strictly utilitarian in his theories of education, most of what Dave knows is self-taught. He took a few helpful computing classes at Brown Institute. Now, he’s attending the Minnesota School of Computer Imaging for an e-commerce degree, which combines graphics and networking.
Work experiences:From Burger King when he was 16, to Cubfoods to the Cabooze. After the food business, Dave converted to a “wrenchhead” then finally switched to computers. He’ did tech support for Ameritech, then worked for a local ISP. Most of these experiences inspire Dave in his current studies.
Interesting life experience:When it was first developed, Dave went to Canada for laser eye surgery. He’s very glad that he can wear sunglasses now.
The early days:Dave did several Evel Knievel impersonations as a kid, and has a few good scars to prove it. He doesn’t take dares as willingly, now.
General life approach:Dave is an optimistic guy who enjoys making the people around him happy, and making the most of each new day.
Current claims to fame:Makes better walleye than “The Tavern on Grand. ” Likes to shop. Recently quit smoking (“it wasn’t that hard”). Considers himself a clean freak.Feel free to send Dave some mail.
