Background:
Heather grew up in the nearby suburb of Roseville, except for a few months out East, in Washington D.C. when she was twelve. She's also lived in Italy for a semester in college.
Education:
After graduation from Totino Grace HS in Fridley, Heather went to Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Winona. She graduated cum laude with a BA in social science, and a minor in political science.
Favorite Holiday:
Without question: Halloween. For starters, her mom decorated their house to the nines, "We were the house that all the kids wanted to go to." Her favorite costume so far was her version of Miss Peacock, for a Clue murder mystery party.
Family:
In addition to her Halloween-loving Mom and Dad, Heather has an architect sister and two little nephews. She's a godmother to one, and loves playing with them both.
A True Minnesotan:
Besides her accent, she hates the movie Fargo and loves the Vikings (at least when they're winning!). And she loves spending summer weekends up at her family's cabin. Too bad winter is so long!
A Performer:
First she fell in love with The Wizard of Oz, then she got to perform in The Wiz. In high school she was a member of the championship danceline team. Yet selling Girl Scout cookies in the high school cafeteria was still a daunting challenge!
