Harry Collins

Account Supervisor

Joined the agency in July 1999

Background:

Harry has been in the design business since 1954. He's worked on his own and in a variety of settings in several aspects of industrial design including product design, packaging design, point of purchase displays and sales promotion programs.

Education:

Besides graduating from the Minneapolis School of Art with certificates in Industrial Design and Sculpture, he has attended numerous professional seminars.

Proudest Moments:

The day his daughter, Brenna, was born. Forty-one happy years of marriage with his wife Jan.

The Great Outdoors:

Always active, Harry has enjoyed backpacking, hunting, skiing and golf. Fishing, especially for large-mouth bass, is his forte. Ask him about his secret fishing hideaway.

The Creative Process:

Even after being in the business for 45 years, he still finds it exciting and gratifying, "You're starting from nothing and getting to something." A clear statement of what motivates many creatives. "Most of what I did was fun," he says.

Role at RAA:

Harry's company, Collin's Creative Consortium, merged with Risdall in July 1999. He's now working as an account supervisor and senior consultant with Sean Foy, another Account Executive, to make transition smooth for the clients.
