Background:
Ben grew up in Mounds View, which makes him another “local yokel” at the agency. After graduating from high school, in which Ben says he played just the right amount of football, studied too much and started dating too early, he went to the University of Minnesota and graduated from the Carlson School of Management with a BSB in Advertising/Marketing.
The Internet thing:
After starting his own web company generations ago (back in 1995) Ben joined Imaginet as a Project Manager in 1997. Hobbies:
Besides computers, he enjoys watching and reviewing movies, and traveling. He’s traversed North America and enjoys camping. One of his favorite traveling stories involves nearly tumbling down a waterfall in Mexico. Ask him about all the lessons he’s learned from his near-death experiences.
Family:
Ben’s proudest moment was when his high-school sweetheart, Jena, said she’d marry him. They’d been together for seven years. Now they have a standard schnauzer puppy named Sadie.
A Word to the Wise:
Although he reads people surprisingly quick, he thinks it takes others awhile to figure him out - so be wary of jumping to any conclusions. To get the ball rolling, just ask him about new media and how the web can benefit everyone.
Quirky fact:
